How can they do it???? Thousands of dogs a week are destroyed because they are disabled, people can not see the other options for them like wheelchairs for dogs, acupuncture and hydrotherapy for dogs. Why do vets only give you the one choice??? Putting the dog to sleep is the quickest option for people because they can’t think of any other way to go around it or have not got the time. A disabled dog is a pleasure to have, hip displacier is No problem, back problems are No problem, born with no feet is No problem. Think of it this way, would your children give up on you if you lost your legs, No, they would help you anyway they could. It is the same with dogs, there is a way most of the time, don’t give up. Maybe we can help you help your dog, take a look around this site and see. Just remember we are here to help. |

Have you got a deaf dog Quick training guide 1….Training a deaf dog is not as easy as training a hearing dog. The first thing you need to do is decide what hand commands you are going to use and keep with the same one's . 2….Always have look at me as your first command. Teach him this one before anything else, you need eye to eye contact to train your deaf dog. 3….Try sit next. Get your dog sitting with his back against a cupboard . Using your sit command bring out a treat and show it to him. Move the treat behind his head making him sit, show him the sit sign again and give him his treat. |
